| Support you team - College sports are hot! | | Posted Tuesday, January 24, 2006 2:32:29 PM by Kate Grant | We've all watched movies and TV series or even sports news portraying the "way to fame" of a professional Football, baseball, and of course, basketball, players. Well, many of them owe their career to college sports. Receiving a sports scholarship, paved their way to fame and fortune. 
College sports recruiters travel the country and visit high school sport events, in order to find the "next best thing"to star the college team.
They'll live quite a sheltered life in college, preparing themselves to the day they'll play professional football, basketball, hokey or baseball. Football college league is so popular and became so commercialized, you can even buy its merchandise and souvenirs, all of them with team logos, on the web.
You'll be amazed by the amount of collectible items, apparel, jerseys, jackets, sweats, cups, hats, t-shirts and lots more.
You can also find college sports scores, and follow your favorite teams online. The college sports TV network will give you news, statistics and more.
And just to make you support them more, we'll tell you that many of the top athletes who made it to the American team to the Olympiad were college students, and how proud did they made us!

All one has to do is go to www.calvinhope.com to see what I mean. Hope and Calvin officials have teamed up to create a Web site dedicated solely to the rivalry that dates back to 1920. The two teams already have met once this year, with Hope defeating Calvin 76-54 in the championship game of the Select Bank Classic on Nov. 25. However, round two is fast approaching.
